The Country Sustainability Ranking by RobecoSAM and Robeco ranks countries on their Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. The score for each country is based on 17 ESG indicators. The index analyzed the 20 countries in the G20, which maintain the largest economies and contain two-thirds of the global population, as well as five nations from regions otherwise unrepresented, using 58 different indicators to measure sustainability. FSI identified France, Japan, and Canada as the top-scoring countries. The data we present, already since 2006, will give you a good insight in the level of sustainability of your own country as well as of all 154 countries included in the Sustainable Society Index, SSI.
